Board of Directors

  Kenth B. Pedersen – President and Chief Executive Officer.

Bill Keating – Corporate Development Consultant. Former Moxi Digital, Microsoft, Web TV and Sun executive, Bill is a 25-year industry veteran, with several executive management successes behind him. Under his direction, Mr. Keating's last seven business ventures have gone public or been successfully acquired. Bill's operational experience includes venture funding roles at Moxi Digital (sold to Paul Allen), WebTV (sold to Microsoft), SolFocus where he successfully sourced nearly $200 MM in less than two years, and executive roles at Microsoft TV, General Magic, Rational Software & Sun.
  

Board of Advisors

  Dr. Geoffrey Ballard (1932 - 2008) – Dr. Ballard accepted a seat on the Hyphase Board of Directors and would have assumed the post this year, but he passed in August of 2008. Dr. Ballard is acknowledged worldwide as the father of the fuel cell industry. He has received international awards for his achievements, and was an invited guest of honor and keynote speaker to world hydrogen events. You will be missed sir.

Paul Howard – Mr. Howard has been offered his choice of positions at Hyphase—anything from President to advisor—to wit he graciously said that he is “definitely interested in perusing the opportunity.” Mr. Howard has been Vice Chair of General Hydrogen since inception, except for the period July 2004 to July 2005, when he was interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Howard was a founder of Ballard Power Systems and served as Vice President of that company from 1979 until 1998.

Dr. Nai-Hong Li – Chief Science Officer and Co-owner, Polygenetics Inc.. Dr. Li is a world renowned authority on the synthesis of high phase polymers.

Dr. Ged Mclean – President & Managing Member, Angstrom Power. Prior to founding Angstrom Power, Dr. McLean was Director of the Institute for Integrated Energy Systems and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Victoria. He received his Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees from the department of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo.

Gary Simon – CEO & Managing Member, Acumentrics Corporation. Gary Simon has a broad-ranging 33-year career that includes Fortune 500 companies, small start-up businesses, and consulting to major energy companies.
